- I am 52 years old. I've been a mother since I was sixteen. A grandmother since 30-something. I live in a log house, ten miles outside a small town nestled in the foothills of the Oregon Cascades. I work hard at trying to decrease my carbon imprint on this world, while also working hard to leave my soul imprint.

Kendra!! Who knew you were a blogger? Thanks for sending me this. I have been trying to "keep up" while we've all been sneezly and coughy at our house. YOU'RE AMAZING! I keep thinking about how supportive you were for me and the kids during my bald year and certainly joined in the "die,cancer,die!" meditations. Keep laughing and breathing - that's really all we can do. The kids have made you something and we'd like to visit when we can.
